Microsoft is going to release the Windows 10 Creators Update April, 2017. The work on the functional update kit is planned by the software giant to be finished by the end of January, and bug fixing and the preparation for the global release will begin afterwards. At first it was set to March, but the timing was shifted during the development process.
The Creators Update will be a very crucial one in the transformation of the OS, because it will bring the integrated support for the augmented, virtual and mixed reality platform Windows Holographic — i.e. headgear, apps, and special controllers. The headgear will be released by HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus and Acer. You can take a look at the Window’s new working envirnoment in this video, and the first headgear from Lenovo has already been presented right before CES 2017. The prices of the headgear will start from $300. Microsoft has already presented their system requirements.
Creators Update will also get the 3D version of Microsoft Paint, changed Action Center that will support all noticiations from all installed apps, a new UI for communicating with other users in the task panel, and the function of filtering out the lights of blue spectrum to lower the stress on the user’s eyes.
